Amy Winehouse's London home burgled while on Caribbean holiday
Amy Winehouse, currently on holiday in the Caribbean, was burgled in her north London apartment – where a set of valuable guitars and recording equipment were stolen, her spokesman said Friday.
The Sun reports that thieves broke through her front door Thursday night, and the tally of stolen items is around $30,000.
Amy is upset, of course. But everything can be replaced, her rep, Chris Goodman, according to People.
From her point of view, her favorite guitar is with her in St. Lucia. It was a special present, given her by [record label] Universal for winning the Grammy awards last year.
No arrests have been made and our enquiries continue, a police spokesperson told The Sun.
