Android 5.0.1 Lollipop Update For Samsung Galaxy S5 Mini
From the beginning of 2015, Samsung has been prompt in rolling out the Lollipop firmware update for the Galaxy series of devices in phases. And now, the Android 5.0.1 Lollipop update for Samsung Galaxy S5 Mini (with model number SM-G800) is reportedly scheduled for a rollout in Denmark. Samsung Denmark has listed saying the Android 5.0.1 Lollipop update will start seeding to Galaxy S5 Mini users shortly. The Galaxy S5 Mini currently runs on Android 4.4.2 KitKat OS.
With the Lollipop OS on board, the Galaxy S5 Mini will reportedly see changes specific to the TouchWiz UI, like 64-bit ART runtime, Material Design, and the new Quick Settings and Recent Apps menu. To top it off, the Project Volta update will apparently improve the battery life of the handset. GSM Arena says the Lollipop update for the Galaxy S5 Mini in other regions can be expected toward the end of May.

The Galaxy Note Pro users can wait for the OTA update to start -- or, with the help of Samsung Kies desktop software, users can download and install the update sooner. It’s a matter of weeks before the software package gets rolled out to other regions, notes Sam Mobile.
