Jose Arturo, Verizon's device test engineer, added a Google+ post stating that the Android 5.1 Lollipop update for Droid Turbo will be seeded in mid-June. Based on Arturo’s Google+ post, the delay in updating the Droid Turbo to the latest Android version is because of Verizon's nationwide HD Voice service. To be specific, Verizon was reportedly wary of the software update in order to make sure it does not affect the voice quality negatively.
