“Maleficent” actress Angelina Jolie is slated to move into a $25 million mansion in Los Feliz, California, after her divorce from Brad Pitt, the New York Post’s Page Six reported Friday. The home used to be owned by filmmaker Cecil B. DeMille. He is widely regarded as “the founding father of U.S. cinema.”

Jolie “wants to make this her new home,” an insider told the publication Friday. When Page Six reached out to Jolie’s reps, they did not receive an answer.

Jolie, 41, mused about what her life would be like without Pitt, 53. “I imagine I will spend my days traveling from country to country to visit our children, who I expect will live around the world,” she told Hello! Magazine March 16. “I think some will be interested in the international work I do, and I would love to partner with them as I continue. I imagine I will be less involved in film and be focused more on family and foreign affairs.”

After spending more than a decade with Pitt, Jolie wasn’t concerned with finding a new partner. “Maybe because my last decade has included many health scares and a focus on raising children, I am simply happy to be healthy, and above all that the children are healthy,” she mused. “There is nothing else to fear. It makes life clear.”

Jolie issued a statement to People Magazine in September after she decide to split from her husband of two years, which read: “Angelina Jolie-Pitt has filed for dissolution of the marriage. This decision was made for the health of the family. She will not be commenting at this time, and asks that the family be given their privacy during this difficult time.”

Pitt answered back: “I am very saddened by this, but what matters most now is the well-being of our kids. I kindly ask the press to give them the space they deserve during this challenging time.”
