Finally, the world's most famous couple is officially hitched!

The internet is on fire with the news of actress Angelina Jolie and beau Brad Pitt getting engaged, the news has been confirmed by their jeweler, who apparently designed Angelina's engagement ring with Brad Pitt.

I can confirm that, yes, Robert Procop did indeed design an engagement ring for Angelina Jolie, designed in collaboration with Brad Pitt, a spokesperson for Robert Procop confirmed.

The couple started dating in 2005 when Pitt was still married to actress Jennifer Anniston. After denying affair rumors for a long time, Jolie finally admitted they fell in love.

Four years after the affair, in March 2009, actress Jennifer Aniston admitted she was still in love with ex-husband Pitt and said, I will love Brad for the rest of my life. You can't take away good memories. I really do hope that we'll be good friends again at some point.

The Jolie and Aniston war has been on ever since, till today and the world has get divided into those favoring Jolie and those sympathizing with Aniston. Angelina has even been called home wrecker and baby collector after her affair started with Pitt.

In 2006, Jolie first got pregnant with Pitt's baby and gave birth to a girl, Shiloh Nouvel.

Later in 2008, Jolie gave birth to twins Knox Leon and Vivienne Marcheline. Soon the world started wondering when the couple would make it official and tie the knot. In 2009, Pitt told the media that the couple, much involved in social services, would not marry unless gay couples would be given the equal right to marry like everyone else.

The couple has six children, including the three adopted ones. In an interview in 2007, Jolie spoke about her relationship with Pitt: Brad and I are starting with the children and are planning to have our time together in our later years. . . . I try to make sure that my relationship with the man in my life is solid and complete and we're very connected and having a great life together and enjoying our children and being part of the world.

The power couple has been going strong for seven years now and the charm in their relationship is as evident and lively as if they have started dating a few days back. Their pictures together speak volumes about their relationship.
