Angelina Jolie-Brad Pitt Divorce Rumors: Couple ‘Living Separate Lives,’ Source Says

Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt continue to battle divorce rumors, even though the couple praises one another publicly. The latest story, via In Touch Weekly, claims Jolie and Pitt are “living separate lives.”

The celebrity duo has been together for more than 10 years and married since August 2014, but the last year of their relationship has suffered because of their work schedules. “Dedicating their lives to film work, human rights and their children left them little time for each other,” an insider told In Touch Weekly Wednesday.

Pitt, 52, has been the one to try to save their relationship, but he “feels like she doesn’t listen,” the insider said, “so he’s given up.” While on vacation they had “a series of relationship-ending fights” and now “the day of reckoning is here,” the source said.

One of those times was reportedly when Pitt whisked his wife away on an exotic vacation to Vietnam — but the plan bombed. “He hoped that he and Angie could reignite the spark between them, but all they did was scream at each other, ” an insider told Radar Online last week. “Angie even humiliated Brad by telling him she’s no longer attracted to him because he looks fat, bloated and old.” The source added: “It got so bad at one point that Angie bolted and ran off!”

Now that their relationship is kaput, they are focused on their six children: Maddox, 14; Pax, 11; Zahara, 10; Shiloh, 9 and twins Vivienne and Knox, 7.

“Their alone time [has] dissolved into a tense negotiation over how they’ll keep the family going after the divorce,” the source told In Touch Weekly, adding they “will each spend time with their kids, individually and collectively, just like they’ve done in the past.”

The recently starred in the Jolie-directed film “By The Sea,” which is a romantic drama about married couple who have grown apart. Possibly sound familiar?

Regardless, Pitt said he loved working with Jolie, 40, when promoting the movie. "It's surprising how much I enjoy the direction of my wife," Pitt told V Magazine in October. "She's decisive, incredibly intuitive, and might I say sexy at her post. I trust her with my life."
