After a wave of speculations that Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie married this Saturday in New Orleans, the wedding was not confirmed by any source.

The rumor was spread by Star Magazine who said close sources declared the couple held a secret indoor ceremony in the French Quarter Wedding Chapel. Later on, the magazine retracted posting a note on its website.

After further investigation, the sources are not standing by their story.

Brad and Angelina did not get married by us, the Rev. Tony Talavera, owner of the French Quarter Wedding chapel said to magazine Life & Style Weekly on Sunday.

On the contrary, several sources affirmed that the couple is in Texas as Pitt is filming the movie Tree of Life, a drama directed by Terrence Malick to be released by 2009.

According to reports the couple said that they will consider to marry when everyone else in the country who wants to marry is able to do it, referring, in part, to the approval of legal gay marriages.
