Angelina Jolie, Brad Pitt Planning To Adopt Another Child, Report Says Amid Reconciliation Rumors

Amid reports that Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie have resolved their rumored marital issues, the couple is planning to add one more child to their brood, according to In Touch Weekly. Jolie and Pitt are parents to six children, three of who are adopted.

“They’re celebrating saving their marriage with the best present possible: a seventh child,” a friend close to Pitt and Jolie told In Touch Weekly. “Now that the divorce is off and they’re back on track, they feel adopting another child will strengthen their relationship even more.”

“Brad and Angelina are putting the wheels in motion to adopt an older child from South Africa, Burundi or Ethiopia, where Zahara was born,” the source told the magazine. “Brad and Angie also believe that adopting an older child will make people aware of orphans who are often overlooked. According to Angie, everybody seems to want to adopt babies when there are so many other wonderful, worthy and deserving older children out there.”

Jolie and Pitt currently are parents to adopted children — Maddox, 14, Pax, 12, Zahara, 11 — and biological children Shiloh, 10, and twins Knox and Vivienne, 8. The A-list couple is planning to adopt a child who is above 10 years of age, the report added.

“They feel that by adopting a child who is 10 or older, he or she will mix in better with their rambunctious kids, who are getting bigger by the day,” the source told magazine, adding, “The kids can’t wait to add another brother or sister to their gang of six.”

Recently, Jolie and Pitt faced several rumors about troubles in their marriage and some reports claimed that the two are heading toward a divorce. However, none of the reports were substantiated.

Earlier this month, Jolie and Pitt were spotted having family time as they celebrated their twin children’s birthday in a low-key outing at a local cafe. A few days later, the couple was spotted getting intimate during an outing in Los Angeles. Pictures showed the couple indulging in PDA during a visit to Jamba Juice. Pitt wrapped his arms around Jolie from behind during the day out.
