Angelina Jolie, Brad Pitt's Kids Are Reason She Hasn't Dated? 'They're Her Life'

Angelina Jolie clearly adores the six children she shares with estranged husband Brad Pitt, and the actress reportedly treats every day she spends with them as a "new adventure."

Jolie is often spotted out and about with her six kids -- Maddox, 17; Pax, 15; Zahara, 14; Shiloh, 12; and twins Knox and Vivienne, 10 -- shopping, getting ice cream, wall-climbing and even attending movie premieres. According to a source, the "Maleficent" star makes sure to think of new ways to have fun and spend time with her children, Us Weekly reported.

After ending her marriage with Pitt by filing for divorce in 2016, Jolie hasn't really returned to the dating scene and gone public with a new relationship. But the source revealed that she has focused all her attention on motherhood, along with her career and humanitarian work.

"Her kids are her life," the insider told the outlet, adding, "every day is a new adventure."

The actress reportedly makes sure to let her children try out a variety of things to help them learn "life lessons and new ideas."

"The sky’s the limit for her," the insider shared.

Among the many activities she has done with her children are paying a visit to a Buddhist temple and interacting with influential thinkers and artists. Jolie's kids got to know Loung Ung, who wrote the book "First They Killed My Father" that Jolie's movie of the same title is based on, and Cambodian rapper and filmmaker PraCh Ly.

Last month, Jolie also brought her four youngest children as her dates to the "Dumbo" premiere at the El Capitan Theater in Los Angeles. Zahara, Shiloh, Knox and Vivienne were reportedly very "polite and well-mannered," according to an eyewitness.

The source told Us Weekly that the kids kept to themselves and looked happy just hanging out with each other. They reportedly spent the pre-party at the Dolby Ballroom in LA "just talking quietly among themselves and finishing up their food."

Jolie also previously opened up about her parenting style during an interview with BBC Radio 4's "Today." The actress revealed at the time that she encourages her children to choose their paths and make their own decisions instead of telling them what choices would be better to make.

"I don’t want them to be perfectly behaved little people that just say what’s absolutely appropriate because I say so … they have to find themselves," she told host Justin Webb.
