Angelina Jolie, Justin Theroux’s ‘Instant Connection’ Before Meeting Jennifer Aniston Not True

A latest rumor suggested actor Justin Theroux was introduced to actress Angeline Jolie and had an “instant connection” with her years before he met his former wife Jennifer Aniston. However, Gossip Cop debunked the fabricated story.

The rumor was perpetuated by an article in the Woman’s Day tabloid, which talked about a charity event where Jolie and Theroux met that was supposedly held long before 2012, the year he met Aniston on the sets of the movie “Wanderlust.”

“Justin always kept that quiet from Jen as he knew it would infuriate her. They had an instant connection all those years ago,” a so-called insider told the magazine.

The first sign that reveals the story of the “The Girl On The Train” actor meeting the “Maleficent” actress was fabricated is that the tabloid does not give any details about the alleged charity the two of them connected over. The date of the charity event was also not mentioned, neither was the kind of event it was.

Gossip Cop reached out to a rep of Theroux, who rubbished the rumor.

A little into the article, it becomes clear why Woman’s Day would choose to conjure up such a bizarre narrative. The piece referenced a rumor started by In Touch magazine last week that had already been proven false.

The week-old rumor claimed Jolie recently invited Theroux out to dinner in New York City “under the guise of offering him a movie role,” with the hidden motive of getting romantically involved with him. The “revenge romance” was supposed to be Jolie’s secret weapon to get back at Aniston for reportedly “reuniting” with her estranged husband.

The premise of the story was wholly false for two important reasons — firstly, there was no evidence to suggest the “Horrible Bosses” actress was getting back with the “Fury” actor; and secondly, Jolie has been in Los Angeles co-parenting her kids since wrapping up shooting for “Maleficent 2” last month and not been in New York since then.

Furthermore, People magazine already pointed out a few months ago Jolie was “absolutely not seeing anyone and will not be” a fact that E! News also confirmed later, saying she was “very focused on her kids.”

All these prove the latest rumor involving Jolie and Theroux was not true.
