Angelina Jolie Looked ‘Pensive’ After Brad Pitt, Jennifer Aniston’s Friendship Was Confirmed
Angelina Jolie looked “pensive” after an insider confirmed that Brad Pitt and Jennifer Aniston are staying in touch.
On Wednesday, the “Maleficent 2” star was spotted looking stony-faced as she was driven home from dinner at Nobu in Los Angeles. In the snaps shared by Daily Mail, Jolie is seated at the back of the car, and she is seen resting her head in her hand. She reportedly rolled her eyes when the driver took her home.
Jolie wore an all-black ensemble. The actress appeared pensive as if contemplating on something.
Jolie’s sighting came after an insider confirmed that there was no bad blood between her ex-husband, Pitt, and his first ex-wife, Aniston. The source said that Pitt and Aniston remain friends and are on speaking terms.
“She continues to stay in touch with Brad and they occasionally talk,” a source told Entertainment Tonight. “They both have come so far.”
Pitt and Aniston got married in 2000. Their marriage only lasted for five years because in 2005, Aniston filed for divorce.
There were rumors claiming that Pitt and Jolie had an affair in 2004 while filming “Mr. & Mrs. Smith.” Even Aniston was surprised when they were photographed frolicking at the beach shortly after she and Pitt announced their split.
However, Aniston have already forgiven Pitt and Jolie. According to the “Murder Mystery” actress, she’s a “forgiving person.” She also said that “there’s nothing worse than holding a grudge.”
“We make mistakes. To hold any kind of resentment is like taking rat poison and waiting for the rat to die,” Aniston said.
However, according to an insider, Aniston told her pals that she would never speak with Jolie ever again. Aniston and Jolie had an encounter once prior to the start of their 2004 film’s production. Aniston introduced herself to Jolie and said that Pitt was excited to work with her.
Meanwhile, Aniston was recently spotted looking stunning in a white jumpsuit. However, the actress faked a phone call to avoid being recognized and being asked about Pitt.
