Angelina Jolie Not Hurrying Divorce To Marry Rich Englishman, Despite Rumor
Angelina Jolie is not pushing for a quicker divorce to marry an English billionaire, despite rumors. Gossip Cop debunked a report by In Touch magazine which claimed that Jolie was hurrying her divorce to marry a British philanthropist whom she is supposedly dating.
“A quicker divorce means Angelina would be free to marry again. She thinks she’s found a real winner in husband No. 4. Angelina really feels she hit the jackpot with her Englishman,” an alleged insider told In Touch.
The supposed insider also revealed that Jolie was very impressed by the man’s dedication to helping others and also his massive wealth. “With this billionaire, money will never be an issue. Who knows – maybe she’s doing Maleficent 2 because she has to do it,” the source said.
The insider also said the two were introduced to each other “by a mutual friend in the human rights community.” The two have “done their best to keep their relationship discreet.”
In Touch did not provide any information about the identity of the billionaire.
The alleged source further alleged Brad Pitt was not very happy about the situation as “he’s dead set against her new man being involved in the kids’ lives.”
“Brad feels strongly that he is the kids’ one and only father. He’s trying to repair his relationship with them. The last thing he needs is a billionaire who wants a trophy wife swooping in,” the insider said.
“Even as Angelina continues to fight Brad, she’s excited to marry someone who can provide for her and her children. She didn’t expect to fall for someone so soon after splitting up with Brad. But she did. The fact that he’s a billionaire is icing on the cake,” theinsider added.
Jolie has not been spotted with any mystery man since her split with Pitt. People reported she hadn’t begun to think about her love life just yet.
“She is absolutely not seeing anyone and will not be. For now, Jolie is most content to be with her kids and looking forward to their life together. She will focus only on their children and being with them. She has no interest in dating at all,” it cited a source.
The former couple who share six kids together announced their separation in September 2016. A temporary agreement gave the actress custody rights of their children while Pitt obtained "therapeutic visitation" rights.
"Angelina and Brad are still working out the divorce and the custody details. Brad isn't happy about the custody arrangement. He wants to see his kids more and struggles with not being able to. Overall, he is doing well though,” a source had told E! News.
The custody battle heated up earlier this month after Jolie accused Pitt of not paying any "meaningful" child support from 2016. Pitt denied the allegations and claimed that he had paid her over $9 million since their split.
