Has Angelina Jolie reconnected with her first ex-husband Jonny Lee Miller?
On Friday night, the "Eternals" star, 46, was photographed entering and leaving an apartment complex in Brooklyn, New York, where her 48-year-old British ex-husband, who co-starred with her in the 1995 movie "Hackers," has a $3 million home, E! News reported, citing public records.
In photos published by Page Six, Jolie arrived at Miller's apartment building in the Dumbo neighborhood carrying a Louis Vuitton purse and a pricey bottle of Peter Michael wine. Jolie wore a long tan trench coat over what appeared to be an all-white outfit and had on a face mask.
She entered the building alone and did not have any of her bodyguards with her for the outing, Page Six noted. The outlet reported that Jolie left three hours after she arrived at the apartment complex.
The following morning, the "Elementary" actor went for a jog in the rain in the same neighborhood, according to Page Six, which published photos of Miller covered up in a blue jacket.
Jolie arrived in New York with her six kids on June 7 for a post-birthday celebration.
Miller and Jolie met when they were cast together in "Hackers." They immediately hit it off, started dating and were married in March 1996. Their wedding made headlines after it was reported that Jolie, who was only 20 years old at the time, used her own blood to write Miller's name on the back of a white shirt she borrowed from him for their nuptials.
Their marriage didn't last long as they lived an ocean apart due to their careers, and they split in September 1997. Jolie and Miller officially filed for divorce in early 1999.
Jolie admitted in a previous interview with the Calgary Sun that she found it hard to be "present enough, physically or emotionally, in relationships to get serious," according to the Mirror. However, she said that she had really wanted to be Miller's wife when they were together.
"It's not fair to the other person that I'm so busy with my career and that I'm often distant even when I am with someone," she continued. "Jonny and I never fought and we never hurt each other. I really wanted to be his wife. I really wanted to commit."
In 2017, Miller confirmed that he is "still friends" with Jolie during an interview with Stuff.co.nz. The "Maleficent" star also told BuzzFeed in 2014 that the actor was "still a great friend."
After their divorce, Jolie went on to marry and divorce twice more – Billy Bob Thornton from 2000 to 2003 and Brad Pitt from 2014 to 2019.
Meanwhile, Miller was married to “Law & Order” actress Michele Hicks for a decade before they split in 2018. They share a son together.
