Angelina Jolie Wanting Brad Pitt Out Of Kids’ Lives Rumors Debunked
Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt have been surrounded by a new rumor which deals with the actress' wish to keep her estranged husband out of the lives of their six kids. However, the rumor was debunked by Gossip Cop as the former couple reached a custody deal and are not feuding with each other anymore about their children.
Over the weekend, Hollywood Life reported Jolie wanted that Pitt would have no part in their children's lives. Jolie “wants nothing to do with Brad anymore, and therefore she doesn’t want the children to have anything to do with him either,” a source said, adding "this isn’t a sudden development,” but rather how Jolie has felt “ever since they split.”
“Angelina and Brad used to clash over parenting when they were together,” the fabricated story quoted the source as saying, adding that things have got worse now that they’re “no longer in a relationship [because] she has no control over what he does with the children when they are with him.” Jolie has “more anger towards him now than she had when they first split up.”
However, a source close to Jolie told Gossip Cop the claims are false and there is no trouble between the "Maleficent" actress and her ex.
Pitt and Jolie are parents to six children: Maddox, 16, Pax, 14, Zahara, 13, Shiloh, 11, and Vivienne and Knox, 9. Maddox, Pax and Zahara were adopted from orphanages in Cambodia, Vietnam and Ethiopia. The other three are the former couple’s biological kids.
Pitt and Jolie got together in July 2005, four months after Pitt’s first ex-wife Jennifer Aniston filed for divorce. In January 2006, they confirmed they were expecting their first baby together. They reportedly got engaged in April 2012 and got married in August 2014. In August 2016, Jolie announced she filed for divorce from Pitt, citing irreconcilable differences.
After the divorce was announced, Jolie and Pitt got involved in a custody battle for their kids with the actress requesting for primary custody of their children. The Superior Court of Los Angeles County ordered a joint physical custody over their children for the 2018 summer season.
A judge determined the kids "not having a relationship with their father is harmful to them."
Late last month, the 54-year-old actor was photographed on the Los Angeles set of his new film with Leonardo DiCaprio, "Once Upon a Time in Hollywood," and according to reports Pitt was not only focusing on filming the highly anticipated Quentin Tarantino crime drama set in 1969 but was also spending time with his kids.
While there have been recent rumors about Pitt's reunion with his former wife Aniston, there were also some rumors about the actor and Jolie getting back together. However, those rumors are also reportedly false as Pitt and Jolie are not planning to end their divorce.
