Angelina Jolie inspired The Weeknd, according to a report.

An unnamed insider told Us Weekly that The Weeknd, whose real name is Abel Tesfaye, sees Jolie, 46, as "the ultimate muse."

The two "have more things in common than people would think," the source said, noting that the singer inserted hints of their bond in the songs of his new album, "Dawn FM."

"Angelina and The Weeknd have had a few meetups, but there is nothing romantic going on between them — at least that’s what friends are told," the tipster continued.

The pair first sparked romance rumors when they were spotted having dinner together in July 2021. They were photographed exiting celebrity hotspot Giorgio Baldi in Los Angeles and leaving separately after spending hours at the high-end Italian restaurant.

"They’re clearly not trying to hide [the dinner date]," an unnamed source told Page Six at the time. "He’s definitely focused on getting to the movie business. He has the new HBO series he's starring in."

Jolie and The Weeknd were later seen grabbing dinner and hanging out at concerts together.

According to the source, the actress formed a connection with the 31-year-old Canadian crooner because her kids are fans of his music.

"They’re crazy about him and they love him and his music. They’ve all become quite [a] buddy-buddy, and the kids find it so cool that their mom has a connection with The Weeknd," the insider said.

Jolie shares six children with her ex Brad Pitt — Maddox, 20, Pax, 17, Zahara, 16, Shiloh, 15, and twins Knox and Vivienne, 13. In October last year, she was asked if her children were more excited about her Marvel movie "Eternals" or her relationship with the artist.

"They're very excited about this film, if that's what you’re asking," Jolie said on E!'s "Daily Pop," dodging the question. "They're very excited about this film."

Another source told Us Weekly in September 2021 that Jolie was "warming toward Abel" because he has been "pouring on the charm and going out of his way to impress her."

Earlier this month, The Weeknd fueled the dating rumors after dropping his new album, "Dawn FM." In his song "Here We Go...Again," he sings about a relationship with a "movie star." He seemingly dropped more Easter eggs in two other tracks, "Starry Eyes" and "I Heard You’re Married."
