‘Animal Kingdom’ Season 2 Spoilers: Episode 10 Synopsis Released; Watch ‘Treasure’ Promo

The time has finally come for Craig to prove he is more than just the muscle when it comes to pulling jobs. With his reputation on the line, on “Animal Kingdom” Season 2, episode 10, Craig guides the family into a yacht heist while Baz plots for the ultimate revenge against Smurf.

“As Craig (Ben Robson) leads the boys – and Nicky (Molly Gordon) – in pirating the yacht, Smurf (Ellen Barkin) tries to find out who robbed her,” the synopsis for “Treasure” teases. In the promo, it seems like the guys are following through with their plan to rob the wedding guest on a yacht despite a warning from Baz (Scott Speedman).

In the previous episode of the TNT series, the guys discussed how they planned to make the guest terrified during the heist. Craig explained that someone in the group would knock him out in order to frighten guest into not fighting back.

By knocking out the biggest guy on the boat, the partygoers wouldn’t dare challenge the armed robbers. From the looks of the promo for “Animal Kingdom” Season 2, episode 10, it seems like things are going according to plan, but with this being Nicky’s first job, will she be able to follow through with whatever is asked of her?

Elsewhere, Smurf is seen tasering the employee who works at the storage unit where she keeps her money. She then asks the guy who stole from her unit while showing him a photo of Baz on her cell phone. Will the worker tell the truth?

In episode 9 of the TNT series, Baz paid the employee to tell him where Smurf’s unit was. Once he knew its location, Baz roped J (Finn Cole) into helping him steal from Smurf. Although he thought J was unaware of who they were robbing, J has actually been to the storage space with Smurf.

In a sneak peek of “Treasure,” J confronts baz about keeping him in the dark about robbing Smurf, but Baz tells J that he didn’t know if he could be trusted and now they will see if he can keep a secret. He also tells J that he along with the rest of the Cody boys will get a cut of the money. Will that be enough to turn J against his grandmother or will he need more convincing?

“Meanwhile, Baz considers what life would be like without Smurf calling all the shots,” the synopsis says. Now that, Baz has $700,000 of Smurf’s money he actually holds way more power than the Cody matriarch.

Not only does he have his brothers’ ears, but now he has a large amount of money that they would be all too happy to split up and use to get as far away from their mother as possible.

Will Baz use Smurf’s secrets to permanently push her out of the picture and take control of the Codys or does he have other plans in mind?

“Animal Kingdom” Season 2, episode 10, will air on Tuesday at 9 p.m. EDT on TNT.
