Anna Duggar Returns Home After Reportedly Spending Christmas With Josh Duggar In Rehab

Anna Duggar is reportedly back home in Arkansas after flying to Illinois to visit husband Josh Duggar in rehab for Christmas. The father of four has been enrolled in a faith-based rehabilitation program since August, after admitting that he was unfaithful in his marriage and has an addiction to pornography. Anna, 27, is thought to have flown to the facility to spend Christmas with her husband, whom she's been separated from for much of the last few months.

According to People magazine, a small plane belonging to the Duggar family was seen leaving Illinois Tuesday evening. Aviation records suggest the plane landed in Arkansas around 10 p.m. EST the same night. Little is known about Anna's visit to the facility, though sources claim she and the rest of the family had a blast celebrating Christmas and seemed happy.

"Everyone just had fun and seemed to be high spirits, including Anna," the source said.

Anna opened up about her hopes for the future during a recent episode of TLC's "Jill & Jessa: Counting On." The devout Christian told viewers she hopes to stay married to Josh, despite him having gone outside the marriage. She said that while she was aware of his molestation scandal — a bombshell report which was released to the public in May — going into the marriage, she was completely caught off guard by his cheating. Anna told those watching that reliving the situation "felt like a bad dream." Still, she said that she had decided not to act immediately after learning about her husband's cheating because she was afraid it would make the situation worse. Anna said her hope is for their "marriage to be restored."

Although this is the first time Anna has visited Josh for pleasure, it is not the first time she's flown down to the rehabilitation center to speak with him. According to reports, the mother once jetted to Illinois to talk to Josh and get the truth about his alleged sexual relationship with adult film star Danica Dillon. She made the trip alone, only bringing along her youngest child, Meredith, because she was still breast feeding. Sources claimed she had "a lot to discuss with Josh," though it is unclear what the outcome of that conversation was.
