Anna Duggar 'Standing By' Husband Josh, Convinced He's 'Innocent' Amid Child Porn Case: Report

Josh Duggar's wife Anna is "standing by" her husband amid his child pornography case, a report has claimed.

Duggar, 33, has the support of his 32-year-old wife, who is currently pregnant with their seventh child, People reported, citing an unnamed source.

"She's standing by him," the insider exclusively told the outlet. "She thinks Josh is innocent. [Josh] has seen [his] children with Anna there. She has to be there."

The "19 Kids and Counting" alum was arrested by Homeland Security in Washington County, Arkansas, late last month. Duggar was charged in a two-count indictment alleging one count of receipt of child pornography and one count of possession of child pornography.

Duggar pleaded not guilty to all charges.

Following a virtual detention hearing in early May, a judge ruled that Duggar would be allowed to leave the detention center where he had been held for a week. But he was prohibited from returning home to Anna and their six young children because he needs to be "in a residence where there's no minor in the home," the judge said.

The former reality star was allowed "unlimited contact" with his children — Mackynzie, 11, Michael, 9, Marcus, 7, Meredith, 5, Mason, 3, and Maryella, 1 — provided that his wife was present. But Duggar has not been allowed to see any other minor child, including his nieces and nephews.

At present, Josh is staying at the home of close family friends of the Duggar family, Lacount and Maria Reber, as he waits for the trial of his child pornography case scheduled for July 6.

Duggar faces up to 20 years of imprisonment and fines up to $250,000 on each of the two counts if convicted.

In 2015, Duggar admitted to cheating on Anna and having an addiction to pornography after Gawker reported that he had an account on the extramarital-affair hookup site Ashley Madison.

In the same year, he also apologized for his "wrongdoing" following the release of a 2006 police report that revealed he had been investigated as a teen for inappropriately touching five underage girls. His sisters Jill and Jessa later stepped forward as two of the victims.
