Anna Faris shared more details about the alleged sexual harassment she experienced on a movie set.

Faris opened up about her experience while filming her 2006 movie "My Super Ex-Girlfriend." The 45-year-old celebrity claimed on Wednesday's episode of her "Unqualified" podcast that the late director Ivan Reitman, who passed away earlier this year, "yelled" at her, leaving her feeling "angry," "hurt," "humiliated" and "defensive," Page Six reported.

She was late arriving on set due to an accident. The director reportedly "slapped her a--." She didn't know how to react and used her rumor by giggling as her defense mechanism.

"One of my hardest film experiences was with Ivan Reitman. I mean, the idea of attempting to make a comedy under this, like, reign of terror, he was a yeller," Faris told her guest actress and filmmaker Lena Dunham, Deadline reported. "He would bring down somebody every day...and my first day, it was me."

She added that she had to fight back the tears during the incident. Dunham commented that it was the first time she heard such a story involving Reitman, and she was sorry for what Faris experienced.

Dunham asked if anyone stepped in, and Faris said, "No. It was like, 2006," hinting that it happened years before the #MeToo movement.

Gavin Polone, one of the producers of the movie, released a statement to Deadline about Faris' claim.

"I never saw that incident or heard about it, but I would not have any reason to dispute Anna's account, either," he said. "If Anna says it happened, I believe her. If it had happened in front of me, I certainly would have confronted Ivan about it. I'm sad to think Anna was demeaned in that way."

Faris first opened up about the incident in 2017 amid the rise of the social movement against sexual abuse, sexual harassment and rape culture in Hollywood. But she didn't name her alleged abuser at the time.

"I was doing a scene where I was on a ladder and I was supposed to be taking books off a shelf and he slapped my a– in front of the crew so hard. And all I could do was giggle," she said.

"I remember looking around, and I remember seeing the crew members being like, 'Wait, what are you going to do about that? That seemed weird.' And that's how I dismissed it," she continued. "I was like, 'Well, this isn't a thing. Like, it's not that big of a deal. Buck up, Faris. Like, just giggle.' But it made me feel small. He wouldn't have done that to the lead male."

Reitman, known for directing "Animal House" and "Ghostbusters," passed away in February. He died peacefully in his sleep at his home in Montecito, California, his family told The Associated Press.
