After it looked like the Pittsburgh Steelers had found a home for Antonio Brown, the wide receiver remains available. Trade talks between Pittsburgh and the Buffalo Bills ultimately fell through, adding another potential destination to the list of teams that are out of the race for the Pro Bowler.

According to multiple reports, a potential deal fell through because Brown indicated he didn’t want to play in Buffalo. The Bills acknowledged their pursuit of Brown, claiming they are no longer trying to make a trade.

“We inquired about Antonio Brown on Tuesday, and kept talks open with the Steelers,” Bills’ general manager Brandon Beane said in a statement Friday morning. “We had positive discussions, but ultimately it didn’t make sense for either side. As great a player as Antonio Brown is, we have moved on and our focus is on free agency.”

The news comes less than 24 hours after a few other suitors reportedly stopped seeking a trade for Brown. The New Orleans Saints and Tennessee Titans won’t make a trade with Pittsburgh, eliminating two more possible landing spots.

The New York Jets have reportedly been out of the Antonio Brown Sweepstakes. The Arizona Cardinals and Denver Broncos were once thought to be possible trade partners for Pittsburgh, but that no longer seems to be the case.

The Steelers had reportedly been hoping to agree to a deal by the weekend. That possibility is looking less likely on Friday morning.
