‘Apex Legends’ Will Have New Modes Coming Soon, Respawn Confirms
In the age where games are continually being updated, one title that badly needs updating is Respawn Entertainment’s hit game “Apex Legends.” Thankfully, fans won’t have to wait long as someone from the game company announced that new content is coming real soon.
According to a Reddit entry titled “An Update on Apex Legends from Respawn,” a redditor asked the game company several questions reflecting the concerns most players of the game have.
Player concerns
First, the redditor said many players long for different game modes such as solos/duos, and features like private lobbies and skill-based matchmaking -- all of which aren’t in the game yet. The redditor then asked if Respawn is “exploring new ways to play” the game.
Second, the redditor asked about in-game progression, explaining that some players who have already completed the Season 1 Battle Pass find that there aren’t anymore rewards to long for.
Third, the redditor asked the game developers for any comment on “slow periods in game” where players aren’t doing anything but pass the time until the ring moves.
Fourth and lastly, the redditor asked Respawn if they are planning on in-game events such as Titans and pilots from “Titanfall” making an appearance on the game.
All of these questions are concerned with adding more features to “Apex Legends” which, at the moment, is lacking in content, ComicBook reported. Thankfully, Respawn has answers to all of these questions.
Respawn responds
Respawn community manager Jayresh_Respawn responded to the redditor’s inquiries with an answer that should give hope to “Apex Legends” players hungry for more content.
First, the community manager, named Jayfresh_Respawn, said “yes” to the first question. The representative didn’t give any details about what “new ways to play” they are trying, though.
Second, Jayfresh_Respawn said the game company is aware of this concern, and promised to announce more details in June.
Third, he said they have “lots of ideas in development to help address” the slow periods the redditor mentioned.
Fourth and lastly, the Respawn community manager did not give any comment as to whether Titans are coming to “Apex Legends.”
For those who don’t understand what the community manager said, all of these responses can be summarized as “yes, we understand what the community is asking, and we are working on it. Watch out for details soon.”
As such, fans should be excited for what Respawn is preparing to release for “Apex Legends.” While the game company said earlier that it won’t establish a “crunch” culture to push its workers to release updates, it promised to keep giving players a better gaming experience with each update they release in the future.
