Apple Criticizes Samsung for 'Slavishly Copying' Designs
Apple is claiming that Samsung's new Galaxy 10.1 table copied its design, criticizing the Korean company for slavishly copying its product design.
In a statement issued by Apple on Tuesday, Samsung's Motion to Compel is an improper attempt to harass Apple by demanding production of extremely sensitive trade secrets that have no relevance to Apple's likelihood of success on its infringement claims or to a preliminary injunction motion.
The ongoing conflict between the two companies compelled a court to require Samsung to hand over its products for legal inspection. The same request by Samsung to inspect Apple products was rejected.
