How To Handwrite A Message on iMessage
While we are really sure why you would like to scrawl a message using your Apple device, but it is fun to doodle around sometimes. If you prefer to handwrite your texts instead of simply tapping the keyboard keys, open a thread on iMessage. For iPhone users, tilt the device in a horizontal position. When you are using an iPad, simply open the keyboard below the Apple keyboard’s backspace, find the squiggly line and tap it to handwrite your message.
Unlock Secret Games on iMessage
Yes, there are secret fun games on iMessage that you can spend time with if you like. To unlock these, open any message thread and look for the App Store icon located just above the keyboard. Click the search icon and type the name of the game that you want to play and download it. After that, open the thread of the person you would like to play the game with. Access the app bar and look for the icon of the game, tap it, and you’re set.
Sending SMS When iMessage App is Down
There are times when the iMessage is down, but you need to send a text message. Don’t worry, you can still send SMS in this kind of situation. Simply open Settings, scroll to iMessages, and toggle on Send as SMS.
Block Someone From Seeing Read Receipts
Similar to WhatsApp, the Apple iMessage app has a convenient feature that allows your contact to see when you have already read the message sent to you. But, the tool is sometimes annoying if you do not want the sender to know that you have already read their message. Now, you can do so by simply turning off read receipts for a particular contact in the iMessage app. Go to the joint message thread and tap the name of the contact located on the top of the thread. Click the information icon and turn the send receipts off.
