Apple iOS 13.1.3 has had its fair share of issues that not only frustrates iPhone users but appears to be obstinate despite several support updates. While Apple’s successive updates already fixed most of the previous issues, Apple users are now reporting a new issue caused by Apple iOS 13.1.3. Based on recent complaints aired by several iPhone users, the Apple iOS 13.1.3 is causing iPhone charging failure

Last time, we reported the bug that caused the range of the latest UI chip to fail and entailed iPhones to be replaced. Now, a new issue has been discovered which breaks both wireless and wired charging. Discovered by Trusted Reviews, there seems to be a recent burst of activity in both Apple Support on Twitter and in Apple’s Official Support Communities Forum.

On Twitter, several iPhone 11, iPhone 11 Pro, and iPhone 11 Pro Max are complaining about the latest issue they experienced on their devices. These users claimed that their iPhones have some charging problems caused by Apple iOS 13.1.2 and worsened by Apple iOS 13.1.3. There are also users of iPhone XS and iPhone X series crying about the same issue.

One iPhone 11 claimed that the device stopped charging on a wireless charger that is working fine on other devices. The user added that restarting the device does not work and has gone to greater lengths of trying four wireless chargers on the iPhone 11 but to no avail. Another iPhone user complained that the Apple handset is no longer charging after it was updated and admitted to having tried all the recommended tricks but have seen no positive result.

It is important to note that this issue is not the same as the other wireless charging issue where the Apple iOS 13 limits some 7W wireless chargers to only 5W. At this point, based on various complaints, it appears that Apple’s iOS 13 is very capable of causing headaches.
