Samsung is weeks away from unveiling its latest flagship tablet, the Galaxy Tab S3. The tablet will mostly like go head-to-head with the iPad Pro on the market in terms of specs and price. Display And Design

Recent leaks of the Galaxy Tab S3 suggest the tablet may adopt Samsung’s curved display look, which originated on the manufacturer’s Galaxy smartphones. There have been few other leaks of the tablet up to this point. However, the invite teaser for Samsung’s launch event similarly hints at a curved display.

The Galaxy Tab S3 is expected to feature a 9.6-inch 2048x1536 display. It may also have compatibility with an S-Pen; however, the stylus may not be built into the tablet. It may be a sold-separately accessory.

The iPad Pro features 9.7-inch and 12.9-inch display options. The tablet comes in silver, gold and space gray color options and is compatible with the Apple pencil accessory, which is sold separately.

Hardware And Battery

The Galaxy Tab S3 is expected to feature a Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 chip and 4GB of RAM 32GB and 128GB internal storage capacities. There has been no word on its battery capacities.

The iPad Pro features Apple’s A9X chip, 2GB or 4GB of RAM and 32GB, 128GB and 256GB internal storage options. Battery capacities includes 7,306mAh for the 9.7-inch model and 10,307mAh for the 12.9-model.

Camera And Connectivity

The Galaxy Tab S3 is expected to feature a 12-megapixel main camera and 5-megapixel front camera and Wi-Fi and LTE cellular models. The tablet will likely be compatible with the Verizon and US Cellular networks.

The iPad Pro features a 12-megapixel main camera and 5-megapixel front camera and Wi-Fi and LTE cellular models. The tablet is compatible with the AT&T, Verizon, T-Mobile and Sprint networks.

Price And Availability

The Galaxy Tab S3 is expected to be unveiled Feb. 26 and may release in March. It’s projected price is around $600.

The 12.9-inch iPad Pro has been on sale since November 2015, starting at $799 and the 9.7-inch since March 2016, starting at $599.
