Apple is currently enjoying massive iPhone sales growth with the iPhone 11 series smartphones. While the lower-priced standard iPhone 11 is a big hit among many consumers, the more expensive Pro models are a big hit among reviewers who say these devices are the best smartphones money can buy today.

One of the most popular models, the iPhone 11 Pro, might be highly acclaimed by many, but it does have its own share of imperfections. Some people even say that it's ugly. Here are some of the iPhone 11 Pro's worst features:

An ugly camera setup

The iPhone 11 Pro undoubtedly has one of the best performing cameras in a smartphone. Unfortunately, this top-performing camera doesn't look appealing. It's ugly at the least, and phobia-inducing at the worst.

Previous reports said Apple's odd rear camera placement reportedly triggered “trypophobia” – a weird fear triggered by seeing clusters of small holes.

Outdated design

The iPhone 11 Pro features more powerful specs compared to its predecessor, the iPhone XS. It does, however, come in the same chassis that made them look awfully identical save for the rear camera setup. The front isn't any better: the notch in front first appeared on the iPhone X, which is two years old now, Digital Trends noted. Apple should've updated the front design, at least.

Color options

The cheaper iPhone 11 is more attractive compared to the Pro models. It's cheaper, and comes in a variety of colors that make them look fun and invigorating. The iPhone 11 Pro, on the other hand, comes in boring colors: the old silver, space gray and rose gold variants. There's a new midnight green variant, though.

Lightning again?

Apple is now using USB-C on its laptops and tablets, but it's still using the old Lightning port on the iPhone 11 Pro. To add insult to the injury, Apple decided to ship an 18W fast charger along with the iPhone 11 Pro. The charger uses USB-C.

Not really Pro yet

The Verge noted that the word “Pro” should indicate that the iPhone 11 Pro has a significant differences and upgrades over the standard iPhone 11. It doesn't.

The iPhone 11 Pro shares some features with the iPhone 11. Both have Night Mode. Both make use of the same photography and video tricks. Both use the same A13 chip. The only difference is that the iPhone 11 Pro has one additional camera, more storage options, a better build, and a nicer display.
