Apple's next generation iPhone, dubbed iPhone 5, is set for launch in September according to the latest rumors and will boast of beefy specs - but does it have enough firepower to stave off the challenge from the top ten new 'super' smartphones that run on Google Android?

iPhone 5, which is expected to be launched in September, will reportedly feature a radical new case design, keeping in line with Apple's reputation as a company which is always on the bleeding edge of industry design.

iPhone 5 is also expected to boast of significant hardware and software upgrades. But does it have what it takes to beat the top ten 'super' smartphones from the Android stable viz. Samsung Galaxy S II, Motorola Droid Bionic, HTC myTouch 4G Slide, Google Nexus 4G, HTC Thunderbolt, HTC Sensation 4G, HTC Evo 3D 4G, Motorola Photon 4G, Samsung Hercules and Motorola Droid 3?
