Apple iPhone to flaunt a dual LED flash
The latest rumor about Apple’s iPhone5 features is, a dual LED flash with Taiwan-based LED packaging firms Everlight Electronics, Edison Opto and Lite-On Technology being pinpointed as potential suppliers.
According to Digitimes, Edison has already made these kinds of flash products and shipped them to other handset vendors, and Apple could be next.
These rumors started from the fact that Apple recently cut down on orders for Lumileds high-power LED flash products from Philips and switched to Taiwan makers of LED flashes.
It’s an update on iPhone 4, which comes with a single LED flash.
The dual LED flash will bring brighter and more expansive lighting for your photographs.
It’s not very clear whether Apple will opt for a single flash module with two separate LED flashes, or two single unit LED flashes placed at each end of the camera unit to improve overall picture quality.
