The new keyboard, he said, will feature a scissor mechanism that is more resistant to damages caused by dirt and debris, and will be very durable and long lasting because it's made of glass fiber.

The analyst also noted that the new keyboard, which offers longer travel compared to the butterfly keyboard, is designed to improve the MacBook typing experience. The new keyboard, which will be the standard for all MacBooks for release in 2020, will debut on the 16-inch MacBook Pro.

Rumor 3: It will replace the 15-inch MacBook Pro
