Features
The Powerbeats 3 Wireless Earphones are powered by Apple’s W1 chip that makes it possible for the device to last for up to 12 hours because of its efficiency. The accessory also features Fast Fuel that ensures less time for recharging. It’s also so fast in rejuvenating battery life that a 5-minute quick charge would be enough for an hour-long use. It has RemoteTalk, which is useful for taking calls, playing music, adjusting volume and activating Siri. The Beats Earphones work well with the Apple Watch, iPad/iPhone and Mac devices running watchOS 3, iOS 10 and macOS Sierra, respectively.
On the other hand, the Beats Studio Wireless Over-Hear Headphones feature Beats Acoustic Engine that delivers a genuine and personal listening experience. The signature DSP software that comes with it also ensures the quality of sound that’s being channeled to the user’s ears. With this type of headphones, users won’t have to worry about outside noise. It has Adaptive Noise Cancelling (ANC) mode that automatically adjusts the cancellation of external noise. Just like the Powerbeats 3 Wireless Earphones, the Beats Over-Ear Headphones can last up to 12 hours on a single full charge when used wirelessly. When plugged in, it can stay on for as long as 20 hours. For all battery concerns, there’s Battery Fuel Gauge that lets users know how much juice is left.
How It Came To Be
So how did the special edition collection came to be? Balmain designer and creative director Olivier Rousteing told Vogue that his connection with Beats by Dre started four years ago when the team behind the audio firm attended a show in Paris. “What they love about Balmain is that I embrace music. We’ve always had an idea of making something happen together,” he said. Speaking of the accessories’ designs, Rousteing stated, “When it’s about technology, there are challenges, so you need a lot of respect. You cannot treat headphones like a garment.”

Campaign
Apple and Balmain has chosen social media personality Kylie Jenner to model the new audio accessories line. Video clips and photos of Jenner donning the special edition earphones and headphones are shown on the landing page for the two devices. Sharing her thoughts on why audio devices are important, Jenner was quoted saying, “No matter what you’re going through, when you put on a song that you love, and that you just connect with, it can change your whole mood and just life you up. Even if it’s just for a few minutes… I love that escape music gives us.”
