Are Harry Styles, Kendall Jenner Engaged? #CongratsHendall Hashtag Sparks Engagement Rumors [PHOTOS]
Is that wedding bells we hear?
After only three months of dating, rumors of a possible engagement between One Direction singer Harry Styles and reality-TV star Kendall Jenner stormed the Web Tuesday. While the 20-year-old singer and 18-year-old “Keeping Up With the Kardashians” star and model have yet to confirm or deny the engagement rumors, fans are already congratulating the young couple by sharing the hashtag #CongratsHendall on Twitter, making it the No. 1 trending topic in the U.S. as of Tuesday morning.
While it is unclear where the news of the engagement originated, a photo of the pair, who began dating last November, is currently circulating on social media, displaying the message: “Today at 6:00 PM, Harry proposed to Kendall Jenner and she said yes. If you support them and will still be a directioner, repost this and tag this to: #CONGRATSHENDALL.”
Despite many fans of the young duo congratulating them on their alleged upcoming nuptials, some fans of the “What Makes You Beautiful” boy-group member have deemed the engagement news and its attached image of Jenner and Styles as fake. “#congratshendall that photo is photoshopped,” posted user @ashcabello Tuesday, adding, “Nice try, but go outside and make some friends stop.” According to the Twitter user’s findings, the image attached to the engagement announcement was a photo of Styles posing with a fan, not his model beau.
According to a report from U.K.’s Daily Record, the couple was together for Styles 20th birthday at Jenner’s father Bruce Jenner’s beach house in Malibu, Calif., on Feb. 1. “Kendall was really keen to make Harry’s birthday a memorable one,” a source told the publication.
Last month, Jenner refused to discuss her romance with Styles on “Chelsea Lately,” playing coy about her burgeoning relationship with the boy bander. When prompted by host Chelsea Handler to talk about her dating life, Jenner responded by saying, “No. We don’t talk about that.”
