Are Johnny Depp And Vanessa Paradis Together Again? The Couple Took A Family Vacation [REPORT]

It appears Johnny Depp and Vanessa Paradis could be dating again after they were spotted together, but, according to media reports, the couple is not dating again even though the old flames went on vacation with their children -- in some cases, amicable exes must co-exist.

Johnny Depp and Vanessa Paradis are reportedly putting on a "united front" for their children's sake after the couple of 14 years announced they split in June, Monsters and Critics said.

Depp and Paradis have two children together, Lily-Rose, 13, and Jack, 10, and they want to remain as civil as possible toward each other for the sake of their kids, the site said.

Even though the "Pirates of the Caribbean" actor is allegedly dating Amber Heard, the family got together to spend a vacation at their $5 million mansion in the south of France on July 18.

"They were both relieved they got along well," a source purportedly close to the couple told Us Weekly. During the vacation, a source said, the clan went to the nearby Plan de la Tour market on July 19. "They were joking around," local Sofia DeCout said. "At one point, Johnny held Vanessa's hand!"

But a source made sure to mention that Depp and Paradis would not be getting back together since the famed American actor is still dating fellow American actress Amber Heard.

"They are looking forward, not backward," the insider explained.

Last month, it was reported that Depp wanted to start seeing Paradis again and even gave her an antique gold pendant that said, "My heart is always with you," according to Monsters and Critics.

An insider explained, "They are having a family holiday to show the kids they are still a strong family even if those two are split or not. But the fact he presented her with such a touching gift, it's almost as if they could make another go of things. Johnny wants to be with his family, he's a very family-orientated man. His kids mean everything to him."

"What they need more than anything is to get together far away from Hollywood and that is what they are doing."

Monsters and Critics reported that Depp and Heard have recently agreed to take some time apart.
