Are The Jonas Brothers Reuniting? They Reactivated Instagram And Fans Are Freaking
The Jonas Brothers Instagram account has been reactivated and fans are reliving the good years by checking out their old photos. They are also excited about the possibility of a band reunion.
While none of the JoBros members - Nick Jonas, Joe Jonas or Kevin Jonas - have said anything about a reunion or their Instagram account being revived, their father, Kevin Jonas Sr., shared a photo to his personal Instagram account to show his excitement over how fans have responded.
“What a great way to end the day,” he wrote along with a photo that revealed “Jonas Brothers” as the number one trending topic worldwide on Twitter, even ahead of “The Bachelor.”
Kevin Sr. even tagged the Jonas Brothers handle in the photo, though the account didn’t repost it. Yet. In fact, the band social media page has no new photos since its reactivation, and the band website that’s linked to the Instagram account is still down, but luckily, all of the old social photos are still there.
The most recent picture is from July 22, 2013 of the band playing an acoustic show with KISS108 radio station before their larger show in Boston that night. The boys can be seen on a small stage, sitting on stools, with guitars and microphones while rows of fans sit in front of them, watching and recording on their phones and cameras.
The oldest photo they have is a countdown picture from March, 26, 2013 revealing that at the time, there was only seven days left until the music video premiere of their single, “Pom Poms,” which was the the first song they came out with when they had their first reunion in 2013.
Sadly, the reunion was short-lived and the band broke up in October 2013, canceling their tour and the release of their fifth studio album, “V,” in the process.
Could this refreshed Instagram account mean a new song or album is on the way, or that they will finally release “V?” Could it mean one reunion show is happening because, if so, the Grammys are coming up and would be a great place to have one. Or perhaps in honor of the 10th anniversary of the release of their album, “A Little Big Longer,” this year, they will do a 10th anniversary tour?
No matter what’s actually to come of this, if anything, fans are excited enough over the prospect of something Jonas Brothers-related being on its way.
