Are Maci Bookout And Taylor McKinney Engaged? Update On ‘Teen Mom OG’ Couple Before 2016 Premiere

Maci Bookout shares a home and a newborn daughter with Taylor McKinney but that doesn’t mean they have plans to walk down the aisle anytime soon. Ahead of Monday night's premiere of MTV’s “Teen Mom OG” Season 6, let’s take a look at where the couple’s relationship stands.

When viewers last saw Taylor in the Season 5 finale, he was ring shopping for Maci. However, Maci, 24, makes it clear in the “Teen Mom OG” trailer that she is not engaged. “I want to be his wife," she says in the promo. "Make me your wife."

Despite voicing her upset, it doesn’t appear to have rushed Taylor, 26, into proposing marriage. The MTV star and mom of two — she shares a 7-year-old son, Bentley, with ex Ryan Edwards — revealed to Us Weekly late last month that she has yet to receive a sparkly ring from her clothing designer beau.

“It’s so to the point where I’m like, ‘Really, what is the deal?’” Maci told the outlet. “Marriage is something I want in my life. In my opinion, and I think Taylor would agree, we pretty much are already married. So, it’s kind of like, ‘All right, what are we waiting on?’ I’m confused.”

While Maci may not be a bride-to-be just yet, she recently hinted a proposal might happen this season. When asked by Cosmpolitan.com about her upcoming storyline on the docuseries, Maci revealed the topic of marriage will come up. “Obviously, me and Taylor and where or not we’re engaged, or if we’re going to get engaged. What we’re doing in our lives and careers and having two kids and just a household to run in general,” she said.
