Meghan Markle and Prince Harry are still the subjects of criticisms after they reportedly traveled to four different vacation destinations onboard a private jet.

But following the backlash, some celebrities came to the royal couple’s defense. Supporters of the Duke and Duchess of Sussex also said that the criticisms being published about the royal couple may be considered as a form of bullying.

On Twitter, award-winning singer Pink asked her millions of supporters to be kinder to Prince Harry and Markle.

“I’m happy to see people coming to the defense of The Duke and Duchess of Sussex. The way people treat her is the most public form of bullying I have seen in a while. It’s out of control. Let’s all be a bit kinder, huh? Let’s show our children that it’s cool to be kind,” she said.

Talk show host Ellen DeGeneres also talked about the royal couple on her social media account. She said that Markle and Prince Harry are one of the most down to earth and compassionate couples she has ever met.

“Portia and I met Prince Harry and Meghan in England to talk about their work on wildlife conservation. They were the most down-to-earth, compassionate people. Imagine being attacked for everything you do, when all you’re trying to do is make the world better,” she said.

Meanwhile, Elton John also told the public that the private jet that Prince Harry and Markle took to their destination was from him. He also said that he wanted to give the royal couple a special gift so that they can enjoy their time away from their royal duties.

But despite his explanation, it seems that a lot of critics still don’t understand why Prince Harry and Markle have been preaching about the environment when they themselves do not contribute to improving its state.

Private jets cause damage to the environment that are far worse than commercial flights and other modes of transportation.
