Are Unicorns Real? Craigslist Ad For 2 Unicorns For Sale Wants Buyer To Pony Up $1.86 Million [PHOTO]
Think your kids are being unreasonable with their vast Christmas lists that include things that don’t exist? Well, maybe your children are on to something – and you can actually still satisfy them after two unicorns were put up for sale on Craigslist.
The purebred unicorns – Pagasus, 3; and Daisy, 5 – can be yours for the handsome price of $1.86 million ($930,000 each, but they must be bought as a pair.)
The listing, titled “2 Unicorns for sale. Must go together,” was posted in the New Hampshire farm and garden section of Craigslist.
“We are selling 2 purebred unicorns,” the posting states. “Male is 3 years old named Pagasus. Female is 5 years old named Daisy. Price of $930,000 USD is per unicorn.”
The poster, who mentions that the unicorns have been hand-fed from birth, says the creatures “require just as much attention if you decide to welcome a unicorn into your home.”
The alleged unicorns currently reside in Goffstown, N.H., and the poster claims to be “the only fully licensed unicorn breeder in North America, and are NUBAA certified.”
A Google search for “NUBAA” does not turn up any results for an organization that certifies unicorns.
The poster said Pagasus and Daisy are in high demand.
“Call now to be put on the waiting list, on which wait times start at 9 months out.”
You better have the cash to buy the unicorns, as the poster requests “SERIOUS INQUIRIES ONLY PLEASE.”
Just in case another buyer beats you to the punch, the seller also offers unicorn eggs for purchase.
