Ariel Winter Instagrams Swimsuit Picture, Sizzles In Patriotic Bikini Photo

“Modern Family” star Ariel Winter celebrated having 2 million Instagram followers Sunday by posting a photograph of herself on a boat wearing a red, white and blue bikini. A week before the Fourth of July holiday, the image of the body-positive star with a patriotic theme showcased her voluptuous assets, as her curvy derriere faced the camera.

The post by Winter, 18, garnered more than 110,000 likes and thousands of comments by her followers.

Winter’s racy photo was posted a day after she announced her split from longtime boyfriend Laurent Claude Gaudette. To break the news, she shared a meme of Kim Kardashian with the text, “I’m like dropping hints that I’m single.” In her caption, she wrote, “When you’re surprised that people just haven’t gotten it yet.”

Previously, Winter was criticized after she wore a body-hugging dress to her graduation party. But the actress didn’t let the naysayers get her down. “Dear sorry body-shamers, I looked hot in that dress. And if you hate it, don’t buy it. But please get a hobby. XOXO Ariel,” she wrote. She added the hashtag #EmbraceYourBody and followed up with another post along a similar line:

During an interview with Glamour magazine last year, Winter opened up about what it’s like to be picked apart by society. “We live in a day and age where everything you do is ridiculed,” she said after undergoing breast reduction surgery. “The internet bullies are awful. I could post a photo where I feel good, and 500 people will comment about how fat I am, and that I am disgusting.”
