It appears the beam is also after Yue, Tio and Shea who are shocked and in a terrible state. Who is this enemy that is threatening Hajime and his friends?

In "Arifureta: From Commonplace to World's Strongest" Season 2, Episode 2, Hajime's party was headed for the Grand Gruen Volcano after leaving Ankaji.

Hajime, Yue, Shea and Tio reached the volcanic mountain and found the entrance. They started looking for Stillstones.

Hajime suggested they need to go deeper to mine a decent amount of Stillstones. As they went deeper inside Gruen Volcano, it started getting intense.

A Magma Ox appeared before them and Hajime was ready to take it out but Shea suggested she can use her new weapon against the beast. He was impressed by how effectively her weapon could convert mana into kinetic energy.

"Hajime's party reaches Ankaji. Hajime must perform multiple miracles to save this dukedom from certain doom before traveling to his real destination, the Grand Gruen Volcano, the next labyrinth on his list," read the synopsis of Episode 2, according to Hulu.

The cast of the anime includes Yuuki Kuwahara as Yue, Toshinari Fukamachi as Hajime Nagumo, Yumiri Hanamori as Shizuku Yaegashi, Youko Hikasa as Tio Klarus, Saori Onishi as Kaori Shirasaki, Rina Satou as Noint, Noriko Shibasaki as Liliana S. B. Heiligh, Minami Takahashi as Shea, Makoto Ishii as Mikhail and Katsuyuki Konishi as Freid Bagwa.
