Bize Feuward Zengen reveals how his people in Ankaji are falling ill due to water pollution in an oasis in Ankaji. Hajime and his friends will attempt to save him and the others in "Arifureta: From Commonplace to World's Strongest" Season 2, Episode 2.

The new episode is titled "Burning Light." The official website has released the spoiler stills and synopsis of Episode 2. The spoilers suggest the cause of the illness is water pollution. Hajime and his friends secure clean water and provide first aid to the fallen citizens of Ankaji.

Hajime and the others will later head to Gruen Volcano in search of a stone to capture the Great Labyrinth and suppress the evil magical powers.

In Episode 1 of the second season, Ishtar informed Eliheid that the Hero was on his way back. Eliheid was worried that the demons were getting active and they would be needing the Hero's power to defend the kingdom.

Shizuku and the others returned to the capital and Liliana was delighted to see them back. Liliana told Shizuku she was worried because it took them a long time to return from the Great Orcus Labyrinth.

"Shizuku and the other students return to the royal capital. Their brush with death, and the dramatic reencounter with Hajime Nagumo, has had different effects on each student's mind. Hajime, now joined by Kaori, arrives at the Gruen Desert," read the official synopsis of "Arifureta: From Commonplace to World's Strongest" Season 2, Episode 1, according to Hulu.

The cast of the anime includes Yuuki Kuwahara as Yue, Toshinari Fukamachi as Hajime Nagumo, Yumiri Hanamori as Shizuku Yaegashi, Youko Hikasa as Tio Klarus, Saori Onishi as Kaori Shirasaki, Rina Satou as Noint, Noriko Shibasaki as Liliana S. B. Heiligh, Minami Takahashi as Shea, Makoto Ishii as Mikhail and Katsuyuki Konishi as Freid Bagwa.
