‘Army Wives’ Catherine Bell and Husband Separate After 17 Years
Hollywood actress Catherine Bell, star of the hit series Army Wives, announced that she and her husband of 17 years, Adam Beason, have agreed to a mutual separation. Bell, a British-Iranian and Beason, a screenwriter, have two children together - daughter Gemma, 8, and son Ronan, 1.
They remain great friends, Bell's representative told People magazine, They're committed to raising their two children together.
Bell, best known for her role of Lt. Colonel Sarah MacKenzie of the television show JAG, met actor and production assistant Adam Beason on the set of Death Becomes Her in 1992 (where Bell was the body-double for actress Isabella Rossellini). Bell and Beason were married on May 8, 1994.
When she was in her 20s, Bell had thyroid cancer and had to have her thyroid removed. She does not cover the scar on her neck because she thinks it's kind of cool.
Bell's upcoming project is TNT's Good Morning Killer, which airs in December. The couple will continue to be partners in their production company, DaVinci Films, despite their separation.
