Arnold, Maria: Christopher Schwarzenegger Will Recover (Family Photos)

Christopher Schwarzenegger, 13, the youngest son of Arnold Schwarzenegger and his estranged wife, Maria Shriver was severely injured Sunday in Malibu, California when hit by a big wave while surfing or boogie-boarding. His injuries included a collapsed lung, broken bones and broken ribs.

Since the incident the boy initially was hospitalized in intensive care, but his injuries are not life threatening and he is expected to make a full recovery, said the couple in a statement Saturday.

With Maria the former Governor of California fathered three other children, Katherine, 21, Christina, 19 and Patrick, 17. However, the couple split after Arnold revealed that he had a 13-year-old love child with the family's former housekeeper.
