Arnold Shwarzenegger and Maria Shriver reunited on Saturday to celebrate the former California governor’s birthday in Beverly Hills, along with two of their children, Patrick and Christopher. The couple was snapped riding in the same car as they went for some retail therapy at Barney’s.
This came as a surprise after a slew of news articles about the couple heading towards a divorce popped up regularly. Shriver had filed for divorce from Arnold earlier this year after 25 years of marriage because of “irreconcilable differences". This news came after Arnold revised the divorce paper promising to extend financial support to Maria, which he had denied earlier.
After the family dined at Casa Roma on Saturday in Beverly Hills, they went shopping together. And according to E! News, Shriver even picked up the lunch bill and ordered her estranged husband an espresso.
Here are some pictures of the good times the couple spent together:
Insider sources say Shriver will go forward with the divorce. REUTERSBack in May, the world learned that after 25 years of marriage, former governor of CalifAWNia and action movie hero Arnold Schwarzenegger and Maria Shriver were separating.
The world was stunned and few details were being released following the announcement. It was soon revealed that Schwarzenegger was having an affair with Mildred Patricia Beana, one of the family's staff, and that he fathered a 10-year-old son with her. Shriver quickly hired a divorce lawyer and Schwarzenegger had to put his big Hollywood come back on hold.
