'Arrow,' 'The Flash' Crossover Spoilers: Synopsis Released For Two-Part Special; Watch Barry Take On Oliver In New Trailer
Fans have been waiting a long time for the “Arrow” and “The Flash” crossover event on the CW and the wait is nearly over. Tuesday, Dec. 2, the fun will begin with “Flash vs. Arrow” at 8 p.m. EST and continue Wednesdsay, Dec. 3 with “The Brave and the Bold” at 8 p.m. EST. With the crossover fun only one week away, the CW has released a trailer to give fans an early taste of the action.
The trailer seems to largely cover the first episode of the “Flash vs. Arrow" crossover and shows the two superheroes coming together in Central City. While training together Oliver (Stephen Amell) shoots Barry (Grant Gustin) trying to test out his speed. Luckily, Barry has that trusty quick-healing DNA. Barry also must deal with comments from Iris (Candice Patton) about Oliver’s muscles.
However, it will not all be fun and games. According to the synopsis for “Flash vs. Arrow,” the two will team up to take down a new meta-human who is able to tap into people’s emotions and control them with orders to rob banks. Unfortunately, while trying to confront the new enemy Barry will get hit with effects and turn against Oliver. The trailer shows the two fighting, pitting Barry’s speed against Oliver’s arrows.
While the two superheroes go at it, Team Arrow will pay a visit to S.T.A.R. Labs where Dr. Wells (Tom Cavanaugh) and his team will potentially help Team Arrow solve one of their biggest mysteries – who killed Sara Lance (Caity Lotz).
It will all come to an end on Wednesday, Dec. 3, when Barry joins Oliver in Starling City, according to the synopsis, to help stop Captain Boomerang, who has placed five bombs around the city. The trailer shows Oliver shaking witnesses down to get to the bombs, a tactic that does not seem to make Barry too comfortable.
