‘Arrow’ Season 6 Spoilers: 7 Burning Questions That Need To Be Answered
It’s been a week since the shocking “Arrow” Season 5 finale, and we’re still wondering about what could happen next season. While the writers are sure to take the show in unexpected directions in Season 6, we’re hoping they answer these questions that we’re going to be obsessing over all summer.
Is everyone dead? Okay, probably not, but this is “Arrow.” It seems like there has to be some casualties. With literally everyone’s life on the line, we have to be concerned for just about everyone. Well, almost everyone. Casting announcements have spoiled some of the suspense. IGN reports that Juliana Harkavy and Rick Gonzalez have been upgraded to series regulars for Season 6, so it seems like the new Black Canary and Wild Dog will survive.
Will Felicity and Oliver get back together? The last few episodes made it very clear that Felicity (Emily Bett Rickards) and Oliver (Stephen Amell) aren’t over each other. Felicity made it clear that the bunker sex was not going to be repeated, but then she kissed Ollie on the island. Was the kiss a one-time deal or is Olicity making a comeback?
Is Oliver going to be a dad now? Of course, he fathered William (Jack Moore), but he hasn’t necessarily been fulfilling the typical dad duties. After going through a traumatic experience together, will the two actually start some father/son bonding? More importantly, will he take over as William’s primary caretaker if Samantha (Anna Hopkins) died?

Will Rene actually want to be a dad? He just lost custody of his daughter, but after seeing Oliver’s son got kidnapped, Wild Dog has to be wondering if he should really involve his daughter in his dangerous life.
Who is the Season 6 villain? The CW’s synopsis for “Arrow” Season 6 indicates that we’ve already met the villain: “Oliver has finally solidified and strengthened his crime-fighting team only to have it threatened when unexpected enemies from his past return to Star City, forcing Oliver to rethink his relationship with each member of his ‘family.’” Oliver has made so many enemies over five seasons that the options are kind of endless.
How will Black Siren stick around? Entertainment Weekly reports that Katie Cassidy will be a series regular in Season 6. That makes it seem like she’ll have a big part to play, and we have to wonder why she would stick around Star City though. Could she be the Season 6 villain?
Will we see Deathstroke’s search for his son? In the “Arrow” finale, Oliver got Slade (Manu Bennett) to help him after he offered the former villain information on his son Joey. Will Oliver help Slade track down his little boy or will that be an off camera journey?
While most questions will remain unanswered for quite a while, those questioning Malcolm Merlyn’s (John Barrowman) death have been assured that he really did die. John Barrowman posted a goodbye video to Facebook promising that he was really gone.
Unfortunately, fans will be waiting months for answers to these questions. “Arrow” Season 6 is not expected to return to the CW until fall. When it comes back, fans will want to make sure the adjust their TV schedules. “Arrow” will move to Thursdays at 9 p.m. EDT, right after “Supernatural.”
