‘Arrow’ Season 7 Crossover Spoilers: Batwoman Introduced In ‘Elseworlds’ Part 2
“Arrow” Season 7, episode 9 is actually Part 2 of the highly-anticipated “Elseworlds” crossover. Barry and Oliver still have each other’s powers, and they’ll take Kara to Gotham to get some help.
At the end of Sunday’s “The Flash,” Oliver (Stephen Amell) drew the vision Cisco (Carlos Valdes) showed them. They saw the Monitor (LaMonica Garrett) and Dr. John Deegan (Jeremy Davies), but it was the background that was important. Oliver saw “Wayne” on a building and knew that they had to head to Gotham. The episode ended with a quick clip of Batwoman (Ruby Rose) on a rooftop.
The “Arrow” synopsis for Part 2 of the crossover reveals that the Wayne building isn’t the only iconic Gotham location that our heroes will visit. Oliver and Barry will “head to Gotham City with Supergirl (Melissa Benoist) to figure out why their reality has changed. While there, they meet the mysterious Kate Kane (Ruby Rose) who provides them with information that leads the group to Arkham Asylum,” the CW’s logline reads.
In a sneak-peek video, it’s clear that Kate, a.k.a. Batwoman, will make quite an impression on the heroes. Barry and Cisco seem to be losing a fight with some guys in red jumpsuits, and then Batwoman drops in to end it.
“Kate Kane told you to get out of Gotham,” she says. “You should’ve listened to her.”
“Elseworlds” will bring in even more characters in Part 2 as well. Though he was seen for a moment in last night’s introduction, it looks like John Wesley Shipp’s Flash will have a bigger role, judging from the photos below.
Nora Fries (Cassandra Jean Amell) is also in the photos, and it seems likely that audiences will meet her at Arkham Asylum. Villains Ricardo Diaz (Kirk Acevedo) and Malcolm Merlyn (John Barrowman) are also pictured as cops.
“Arrow” Season 7, episode 9, Part 2 of the crossover, airs Monday at 8 p.m. EST on The CW.
