  • Arsenal trying to unload Bellerin to PSG
  • PSG could use a healthy Bellerin next season
  • Arsenal managing budget for more new signings

Arsenal F.C. needs to unload and sell some of its players and the latest one is said to be Hector Bellerin. The Spanish right-back is being offered to Paris Saint-Germain, a deal that makes sense. After falling to Bayern Munich in the Champions League final, Thomas Tuchel is looking to improve the right-back position. A healthy Bellerin should make sense.

The only thing that may hinder the move is Hellerin's health. He has yet to recall his old form after dealing with several injuries. That includes suffering a ruptured anterior cruciate ligament in January 2019 and a hamstring injury last season. He appeared in only 15 matches during the 2019-20 season.

If he manages to recall his old form, it would be a big load off the concerns of Tuchel. Bellerin has been identified as one of the players likely to be dealt away by Arsenal and PSG could put him to good use, RMC Sport reported.

Tuchel is on the prowl of new players with some players exiting. As mentioned in a previous post, Thiago Silva is said to be headed to Chelsea F.C. despite efforts by Tuchel to try and keep him. Another player also set to depart is Eric Choupo-Moting. Both players agreed to a two-month extension which has now lapsed. Aside from them also gone from Parc des Prices are Edinson Cavani and Thomas Meunier.

On the part of Arsenal, the time to unload some players is now. Mikel Arteta wants a complete overhaul but Arsenal is not that financially flexible. Gabriel Magalhaes is looming as their next big signing following the earlier addition of Willian Borges da Silva. More are on the list but the Gunners need to sell off some players for Arteta to take them in.

Some of the high profile players Arsenal are trying to deal with include Matteo Guendouzi and Mesut Ozil. Guendouzi has been linked to several clubs but nothing has been set. In a previous report, the Gunners were trying to package him plus cash to Lyon for Houssem Aouar. As of this writing, there has been no progress in those talks. Other clubs interested in Guendouzi include Villareal where he could reunite with former boss Unai Emery.

As for Ozil, the German plans to stay on with at Emirates Stadium until his deal expires. That would mean another year though there are suggestions he could be sent off via loan deal.
