Arsenal Transfer News: Ex-Gunner Cesc Fabregas Urges Dutchman Robin van Persie to Quit North London Club
Ex-Arsenal and current Barcelona midfielder Cesc Fabregas has urged his former team-mate Robin van Persie to quit the North London-based club and feels that it is now or never for the Dutchman, if he decides to leave the club.
Spanish international Fabregas, who joined his boyhood club last summer, said that it was entirely Dutchman van Persie's decision to make. He also added that van Persie had always been loyal to the Gunners and the club's fans, stating that Arsenal could not afford to lose him, under any circumstances.
As of now, van Persie has dismissed all contract speculations until the end of the season, triggering fears that he will be the next high-profile player to leave the club.
According to a Tribalfootball report, van Persie has just 18 months left on his current contract.
