English Premier League club Arsenal are reportedly considering a January bid for Russian club Spartak Moscow's highly talented young Georgian attacking midfielder, Jano Ananidze, who has impressed in the Russian Premier League thus far.

Ananidze, 19, has attracted interest from a number of European clubs but his club is yet to receive a bid for the player. However, according to the Russian media, Ananidze could be on his way to England with Arsenal being the favorites.

The young midfield man has made 11 appearances for his club this season and is now a regular in the team. Many of Russian football pundits believe that Spartak should not let the player leave, as he is a good prospect for any club he stays in. However, the youngster may be tempted to make a move to the Premier League with Arsenal who are one of the giants of English and European football.

The Gunners are believed to be willing to pay an amount of £4 million for the Georgian and are hoping to seal the deal before other Premier League and European clubs make him their target. However, Spartak Moscow's Sporting Director, Dmitri Popov, insist the club will not listen to any offers till Ananidze is at least in his 20s.

The player has also attracted interest from German clubs Hamburg SV and VfL Wolfsburg, according to a footylatest.com report.

Jano Ananidze, who became the youngest player ever to score a goal in the Russian Premier League in 2009 against Lokomotiv Moscow when he was 17 years and eight days old, has made 41 appearances for Spartak and has managed to score seven times.
