Lady Gaga’s meat dress which made history last year at MTV Video Music Awards was put on display at the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame on Thursday.

The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in Cleveland revealed the singer's raw-meat dress to the public on Thursday. The dress is made of layers of Argentinian beef.

Lady Gaga wore the infamous meat dress at the MTV Video Music Awards on September 12, 2010, when she accepted the Best Video of the Year Award for “Bad Romance.”

Franc Fernandez and Nichola Formichetti are the two designers who created the attire for Lady Gaga. The dress will be part of a new display, titled Women Who Rock: Vision, Passion, and Power” which will run until February
2012, the CelebrityCafe.com reported.

Hall of Fame spokeswoman Margaret Thresher said, while dehydrating the dress, it took on a dark, beef-jerky look, so it was painted to look fresh. The entire process took several months to complete, a local media reported.
