Rosie O'Donnell's Plush Chicago Home Sells after One Day [PICTURES]
Talk-show host Rosie O'Donnell has managed to sell her beautiful 12 room Chicago home in just one day. The 6,000 square foot home, which O'Donnell bought last fall, sold for $2.5 million after only a few hours of being put on the market.
O'Donnell had originally bought the home for $2.25 million from Erik Logan, the President of Oprah Winfrey Network. The three story luxury home that was built in 2007 features three fireplaces, a roof patio, home theater and a sports bar...a reason to never leave the house.
The kitchen boasts hardwood flooring, a breakfast bar, pantry-butler and pantry-walk-in along with custom cabinetry. With four huge bedrooms on the second level, O'Donnell's former Chicago pad also has a whopping five full baths and two half baths.
Worried about security for the posh home? A top of the line security system was recently installed in the house. No need to think about street parking either. A three car heated garage takes up one floor of the Chicago home.
The talk-show hosts reason for abandoning the beautiful home? According to her listing agent, Janelle Emalfarb-Gordon, O'Donnell said I don't need this big of a house.
